FORENSICS "Things to Do When You Should Be Dead Anyway" LP (Aaron Horkey Gold Letterpress Edition)
To mark the 5-year anniversary of the vinyl version of FORENSICS‘ Things To Do When You Should Be Dead Anyway (originally released on Providence label Trash Art), the album comes back home to guitarist/vocalist Brent Eyestone’s label Magic Bullet Records and gets a serious facelift. The original Aaron Horkey art has been rendered onto an entirely new layout package featuring layers of screenprinting, letterpress printing, and offset printing (2 variants available!!). New lacquers were cut and all copies are hand-numbered out of an edition of 500.
Recorded in the spring of 2004, Things To Do When You Should Be Dead Anyway marked the debut full length from FORENSICS, who turned in a varied, monolithic, mountainous brand of heavy guitar-driven punk rock played at ceiling-collapsing, fuse-blowing volume and intensity. Fairly far removed from the pedigree of the personnel that played on this album (ex-PG.99, CORN ON MACABRE, BURNING AIRLINES, et al), “Things…” is a document in raging dynamics.
